Myra McCusker


Myra co-founded the company along with husband John in 2011. Myra’s previous experience has always centred around customer service and caring for other people.

Myra’s focus in the company puts her great customer service and caring abilities to good use. She visits new domestic customers, looks after the staffing levels and overseeing quality control and training.

Outside of work Myra enjoys shopping and lunching, and spending time with her family.

Paul McCusker


Paul accepted the job offer as manager of Snowdrop Services in 2014. After he graduated with a degree in Sport and Physical Activity from Strathclyde University, he went on to coach in America and later managed large teams of coaches.

Paul is responsible for the day to day running of the business. This includes seeing new commercial customers, communicating with our existing customers and administration work.

John McCusker


John is a co-founder of Snowdrop Services along with his wife Myra. John has a variety of previous experience, he started out with the Stakis hotel chain as divisional accountant, later he would manage Strathclyde University Students Union for over 20 years.

After working for other people, John and Myra decided to set up their own company and work for themselves. John oversees the running of the company both long term and helping son Paul with the day to day duties.

Outside of work, John loves to spend time with his family and is an avid golfer.

We are looking for new team members

We need many cleaners in all parts of Edinburgh and the Lothians. You will be required to work alone and as part of a team on site, so our preference is that you have a vehicle but this is not a necessity. You should have a good attention to detail, and an ability to work well under instruction. Quite often our customers require a very fast turnaround, so while speed is important, a pride in your work is also key, ensure the job gets done quickly but most importantly to the standards that we and our customers expect.

So many of our contracts see us making small repairs to kitchen doors, lights and so on, that we need a Handy man with a wide range of skills. You will ordinarily be working alone so will require your own transport, and speed of work is key as there are often many call outs in one day.

While Gardening is not our core service, we are often called upon to perform Garden Tidies and clear ups. For that reason, we need an experienced Garden labourer, who has a good knowledge of plants, and a strong work ethic. Timeliness is also critical for our customers.

As our business grows, we will require an additional account manager to work in our busy office. Experience is preferred but not a necessity. The canditate should be familiar with CRM, Microsoft and basic bookkeeping.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced cleaner in the East Lothian Area.

The Candidate must have a car and the following attributes.

  • Good attention to detail
  • Works well as part of team
